Love this sampler. My wife and I are having a great time working our way through the many options.

Solstice brand leaf teas are absolutely wonderful. The seller, Clockwork Cornucopia, carries a broad selection of loose leaf teas including a variety of green teas, traditional black leaf tea and some wonderful sounding herbal teas that I can't wait to use next spring and summer for iced tea. Previously I had purchased my loose leaf tea from a local 'Tea Shoppe'. I love the shop-it's cute and chintzy prints cover everything. I've even taken in some of my embroidered tchotchkes and they bought them right up to use on the tables, under sugar and creamers etc. However, they never did have much of a selection of teas..a couple of green, including a rather bland Sencha, Earl Grey and Oolong..regular Chinese restaurant tea and thats about it. Solstice, however, has a wonderful number of herbal, green and back tea that give the tea love a chance t try a number of different tea. They sell their tea in smallish tins so you can enjoy their variety without buying a big bag of it-I really like that. This Sampler I bought is a nice variety - and I also bought their 'Boston Tea Party" selection which is great fun-and includes a history of the Tea Party also. If you like tea, give up on stale tea bags and buy yourself a tea infuser and one of the Solstice selections and enjoy your morning with a pretty tea cup and some lovely tea!

I am so happy that I purchased this tea sampler set. I started watching YouTube videos about tea and Gongfu Cha and the next thing I knew my browser was at Amazon and I was shopping for a cost-effective way to try as many teas as I could within my budget. You receive twelve tins in the set and the photos I included will show the box, the tins, and what each of the teas look like (assuming Amazon will accept all those photos). This would make a great gift for someone else or even for yourself if you're like me and want to try a variety of teas that you aren't familiar with. Now, the quality of these teas is decent, but you shouldn't expect large, full leaves. You'll need to go to a specialty tea shop for that and you'll be paying a lot more for them. I think this set is the perfect balance between quality and cost. My favorite so far has been the Chai tea. I heated some vanilla almond milk in a pan (I'm lactose intolerant) and steeped according to the directions included on the quality insert listing each of the teas that were included. It tasted fantastic! I don't think people should leave negative reviews just because they don't like the taste of something, but maybe I'm in the minority on that one. It isn't that the teas are bad. It's just that your tastebuds might or might not like something in the set and that's okay. At least you saved a little money trying it this way rather than going to an expensive shop and getting three times the quantity. The tins don't seem like they're air proof so I do suggest adding one of those desiccant packs in each of the tins if you have them. Otherwise you'll just want to consume them as soon as possible and keep them in a cool, dry place so they aren't collecting moisture. And make sure to keep them away from your cooking spices because some of these teas will pick up those aromas and I don't know about you, but I don't want my Green Sencha smelling like paprika and garlic. ;) I don't want to go on and on so I will end this review by saying I am happy with my purchase and I would purchase from the company again to give more of their selection a try.

Being new to using loose leaf tea I wanted to try a variety of different flavors. This variety pack provided a diversity of flavors and enough of each to allow me to decide if I like the flavor or not. I recommend this variety pack for anyone looking to try out a variety of tea flavors or looking for a gift for a friend

The tins now come with a plastic seal heat shrink band that keeps the lid on, and the tea in! So when you open your box, you just see tins of tea. I am thrilled with the assortment. There are 6 tins that are full caffeine. I love Irish Breakfast, English Breakfast, no matter what! I’m not an Earl Grey fan, but I’ve never cared for Bergamot. However, I’ve wanted to try Masala Chai and Darjeeling Mirik for quite some time. I’m so happy they are included in this sampler. There are two mid Caffeine. Both green. Gunpowder green which is my main go to in a green tea, and China Sencha, which I look forward to trying. There are four non caffeine Herbals. Rooibos, which is always a pleasure to consume! The others, I look forward to trying. A couple of the tins have some small dents. I can assure you as a gift giver and receiver, this is a non-issue. These are small, lightweight tins that get bounced around as they do their part to ensure labels stay attached, lids stay on, there is no product loss, etc. This is a great buy!! Fresh tea! Smells amazing!

It arrived quickly. It was well pkg. This Would make a wonderful gift for someone who loves tea. I love all the samples that I got. The samples were generous proportion. They are in a little tin can and is easily opened. The quality is outstanding. I would definitely purchase this again and I plan on buying the bigger packages of tea.
