Favorite yard tool.
I have two of these, one for home, one for my cabin. It’s a perfect tool for all kinds of tree trimming, cleaning up of branches and taking down small scrub. Works beautifully.

Useful synopsis - Surprisingly Effective Saw
Cuts one inch and smaller (hard and soft) branches in 3-5 pulls or about 5 seconds (max). Cuts two inch wood in about 10-20 seconds depending on hardness. Cuts 3 inch wood in about 30-40 seconds depending on hardness. Didn't test larger, but adding 15 second increments per inch is a safe 'scale' to determine how quickly it will cut. I'd probably max out on 5 or 6 inches though. It can be done, but will be more tedious considering blade length. Makes some clean cuts, even with the large teeth, and is extremely easy to use. I lightly push back over the cut without digging in to make it easier to keep cutting. It requires hardly any effort to cut (emphasis on that), which is extremely useful in not burning excess calories. The 'sheath' holds nicely on a belt (unless you're wearing a 'loose' belt), and will spray paint mine as the orange stands out through the clear plastic (which is good if you're trying to find it if dropped, but not if you're trying to keep a 'low profile'). It is not as secure of a latch on the 'sheath' as I'd like it be, but it didn't pop open on me while frolicking about testing it lol. Worst case, I'll keep it the pack, and put it on the belt when processing wood. Invest in different 'sheath' if you use a 'loose' tool belt as this primarily stays on through compression between your body and belt. (Which is comfortable by the way) The large teeth make quick work of any wood. Can use a multi-tool for fine (small) cutting, or a medium blade (I'll be purchasing another large and possibly medium blade for versatility but extra blades will -not- fit in the case unfortunately). This size is perfect for practically all your needs except large wood processing. The weight is negligible (far exceeds usefulness vs weight, it's extremely light anyways) and will be a necessary item as it'll outperform any hatchet and most axes, especially when considering energy usage. I don't suspect durability will be an issue, but it's fair to expect many years of heavy usage. Only downside is you can't sharpen the teeth apparently. Will put that to the test when the time comes, and is also the reason I'm purchasing some extra blades. Bottom line, this thing is an invaluable resource in the backcountry. Definitely worth the money and is a good investment. Glad I bought it.

Beast mode
This saw is awesome. Also bought the MOSSEY oak saw which comes with different blades for plastic and metal, but this saw kills it when it comes to straight wood cutting. I have been taking this and a small hatchet in my backpack while Mnt. Biking to clear trails. With this saw doing the initial cut, then hatchet down, then saw clearing 1-4 inch trees no hatchet in like a minute and larger trees 5 - 24 inch in 5 - 10 minutes. Yes its a workout! But its the best folding saw i have ever owned. Comes with a plastic carry case the protects the saw while in the pack.

GREAT SAW!
Really didn't know they made hand saws as good as this thing. Received in mail and within an hour I had cut down a 20 year old half dead pine tree, cut the branches off and cut the trunk into small pieces. Granted the base of the tree was only around 8 inches thick but I'm 66 years old and this thing just sawed through it very easily. Would have purchased this years ago if I had known how good they actually are.

The quality you're expecting.
Nice design, lightweight. Most importantly, it CUTS. Wicked sharp and ready to do business. Very nice to have in your pack. Along with a hatchet, you're well equipped to make a pile of firewood. Just pay attention to the blade length. I was thinking I was getting the longer version. No big deal, happy with the purchase.

Blade does not lock closed
Let me start by saying this saw works great. Only problem I see is the blade doesn't lock closed. Seems every cheap version of a folding saw locks closed but for some reason this nice, sharp, amazing saw doesn't. I have a 10 dollar ozark trail saw that has a amazingly rugged blade locking system but, that's worth nothing on that saw because it doesn't cut very well at all. The plastic case is a joke but, the saw itself is great other than the blade not locking in the closed position. Cuts Much better than fiskars saw which I have as well.

Great First Impressions, Left Old Saw in the Saw Dust
Took it out as soon as I got it and compared it with my old Walmart saw. I was starting to sweat a bit using the old saw. When I switched to the Silky it took roughly a quarter of the time to saw through, and less effort. It also didn't bite and bind on the wood like the Walmart one. I was almost confused. "That's it? That's all it took?" It was quick. Awesome saw. The accompanying case is cheap plastic, but at least it'll help keep the exposed side of the blade from digging into the walls of my pack, pouches, or pockets. If I have any major problems with it, I'll probably remember to update this review.

Wonderful tool
Great buy. I'm a 64yr female and this suits me. Easy to cut branches off. Only gripe is the case. I have a smaller version and the case has a metal lanyard which makes carrying easy, this larger model lacks that. I just tied a loop into the moulded hole to carry it. Great tool. Ergonomic and very efficient. Don't let that deter you. This little saw rocks.

Fantastic little saw. I bought it to use backpacking/hiking to clear trails as a courtesy as I go. I had a bunch of trees fall this year on my favorite trail near my house so used this as a test. The largest tree I managed to clear was 11" diameter, but I had to cut out a couple of wedges to make it work. I cleared about 6 fallen trees that all ranged from 11 to 4 inches and it handled them all with speed! Some people mentioned the tip breaking which I think is user error. It's Japanese, which means it cuts on the pull stroke; I suspect people were pushing, the blade bound and it snapped. Treat it with care and it should last a very long time. I'm very happy with this saw.

Ich liebe die! Super scharf, leicht, auch an mit größerem Werkzeug schlecht zugänglichen Gerät gut einsetzbar, gut zu reinigen (btw bei frischem Harz hat sich auch die Handwaschpaste bewährt...).

This blade is so sharp, even lightly brushing your finger or knuckle with the blade will easily cut them. This blade works faster than most electric cutters with almost no effort. If you are high up on a tree and need to remove a 1” - 1 1/2 “ branch, you only need to pull the blade 5-6 strokes and you’re done, plus you have the benefit of much lighter weight than a power tool. In contrast to many cutting blades, there are no teeth that protrude from the width of the blade itself: all teeth are cut inwards to the centre of the blade itself. Just wear tough gloves!
