I was expecting this label maker to be cheap and possibly not work very well, but so far, I’m very impressed. The label maker came with a roll of labels already and it was super easy to start up and use for the first time. The instructions were easily readable and the app that you install is extremely user-friendly. There are also so many options for fonts, sizes, designs and images. I only went through two or three labels that I had to toss before getting the hang of it and even those were totally my fault because I was too lazy to measure what size labels I had. The cutter on the label cuts super clean and is really satisfying to hear. The labels print very clear and don’t smudge or look like they’ll be messing up anytime soon. I noticed that the smaller the text is, the lighter the ink seemed to be, which wasn’t a huge deal for me honestly. I could’ve increased the font a little and it would be fine since the other labels I printed were nice and dark since the text size was slightly larger. The sticker labels were also very sticky and looks like they’ll hold up well. This is a great little tool for your organization and I look forward to getting a variety of colors for my labels once I’m out of this initial roll.

Love this little label maker. Very compact, easy to use & doesn’t waste label paper - which I really appreciated after using regular label makers. It charges fast, can use for ling Time in charge but also can use plugged in. Downloading the app to my iPhone was easy & it paired itself after I turned on BT, but have to download app 1st w/ Apple phone. Easy to adjust font size. Press button & it cuts nicely. Love it. I got this little label maker b/c it was small enough for my purse. I have other label makers but they are large & bulky to keep in purse & carry w/ me. I can easily compare it to the larger nicer label makers. It’s definitely worth the price for convenience alone. Quality printing is B+ compared to expensive ones but you don’t buy ink - it is thermal paper so quite clever. A+ on adjusting strip size to cut. So much waste of expensive label tape w/ other machines. There is a limited size but the size works fine for basic Labels in the classroom, home storage, etc. The backing of the label sticks good - paper, plastic, wood, etc. On some labels that might get wet, I put clear packing tape over the label to protect it. Also for 2 or 3 lines, it needs to be manually returned, there is not a wrap text feature. Again it is basic but does have a lot of great features for such a little guy. I give it 5 stars, even w/ it not having some features of a large label maker b/c that cancels out its compact, super easy to use, w/ less $ waste on labels. I love it & reach for it now before my other label makers b/c of convenience.

You can create a word in Japanese for example in your favorite graphics editor, then add it to your label!!! GREAT! You CAN make a template in your fav graphics editor, select "picture" in the MakeID app, put in on your label and the MakeID app will allow you to type text over the image/picture! Great. Cons: I cannot add my own fonts or templates! I would give this 5 stars across the board otherwise (for the price). BUT, I need OTHER FONTS. I make labels for my Bonsai tree creations and I need a Japanese font. https://amzn.to/3XuQnf2 Also, I need to make other templates! The templates included are ridiculous. Can't modify them or even upload your own graphic. No hearts on labels that don't say MOM and just so, so limited. TAPE IS EXPENSIVE. https://amzn.to/3NQGy71 At the time I bought this, a roll of tape was almost half the price of the label maker! Ridiculous. So, no 5 star until price of tape comes down. Pros: For a cheap down and dirty label maker, this works. I DO LIKE that you DO NOT HAVE TO create an online account to use this. APP is easy to install. (Words of wisdom: "NEVER EVER BUY A TOOL in where you are forced to create an online account to use it". Also, once an app in installed, ANY APP not just this one, go to settings and remove ALL PERMISSIONS for said APP before you do anything else!) So... I pulled this out of the box, moved the included tape in correct position, turned it on, connected to my android via blue tooth and DONE, I made several labels within minutes of opening the box. The app was very easy to use. Seems to hold a charge for a while and I like the portability. Re-iterating - Easy, down and dirty if you need to make some easy, simple labels. Fin: If tape were cheaper (half of what it is now) and I could at least add my own fonts, I would label everything, use for all my projects and buy a couple more of these at this price point, no more. I will update you on longer performance after I go through both rolls of tape.

These are so cool! They are so small, quick, and easy to use. They cut clean every time. They have been holding up perfectly well on my essential oil rollers for weeks. They are really a game changer for EOs, but I got the printer for printing labels to stick on my kids' school work because I have 4 kids and dating every paper I want to save gets tedious. I have put labels on my kids lunch containers and water bottles as well and they have held up to literal boiling water, but start to fade after being in the dishwasher a few times. The app could use some work; it's not as great as it could be as far as sticker options and ease of use. Sizing the text and label can be tedious, so it's nice that the app saves your previously printed labels and you can edit them or reprint. A lot of the stickers are in another language. I wish you could print emojis like hearts, etc, but it won't input those from the keyboard. A font like wingdings would be helpful. My first printer wouldn't charge and the second one didn't work exactly as the instructions listed. My second one took several hours to charge initially. The light turned green for a split second and then solid red, but it turned back to green once I linked it to my app and prints just fine. The company helped me out and responded swiftly. There's a space on the printer to add a carrying strap, but it's not included. Neither is a charging block. It needs one with an output of 2 amps.

I swear the amount of times I've told myself "man I wish I had a label maker... it would make organizing [insert objects here] so much nicer.." has been way too many. I finally needed to buy one especially for my tarantula collection as I have written their scientific names on their enclosures so I don't forget who is housed where. Well I didn't expect this printer and app to be very intuitive. I figured it was just a printer and nothing more. Bruh, this thing has little PICTURES you can print on it! The app is easy to understand and the printer is rechargeable. I also don't know where other people are getting the tape price being expensive. It isn't. I've found replacement tape for this printer to be like 12 bucks for 2 or 3 rolls. Anyway. What really impressed me (Which I found that even the P-Touch brand label makers didn't offer, at least the ones I've used...) was that when I was making this label for my AC unit's refrigerant key, that when you select to print more than 1 copy, it has a check box as to whether or not you want to to CUT the label of each copy or if you want it to print the copies all in one piece. I work in the IT field and BOY... documentation and labeling is EVERYTHING... My job uses P-Touches and I had to constantly type out my labels with spaces in between the "copies" just to make the P-touch print it as one continuous piece. Sorry for the long info, but man I love this thing!! Highly recommend! Can't wait to use it when I have to organize the wiring in my future 225 gallon saltwater aquarium sump!

Easy to use...lettering looks professional!

I really wanted to like this little label maker. It's a very convenient size and prints nicely (when it prints). I downloaded the app onto my phone, charged the label maker. It asks for location to be turned on(other reviews explain, no need for me to go into details). The first time I used it, it worked pretty well. I didn't change fonts or text size. I printed 2 or 3 labels, turned off machine and came back the next day to print some more labels. It would not print my labels. I troubleshooted per instructions. I had my Bluetooth on and location. It would not print. I had to uninstall the app and reinstall, and this has been consistent with use. I reached out to customer support, and they did reply but repeated what was in the instructions. It was also glitchy when I wanted a different font or text size. It really was time consuming and frustrating to uninstall and reinstall the app every time I wanted to use the label maker as well as having to retype my text into the text box. I live in a highly populated area with very good connection/service. I would hate to think how this would work when I'm in a more remote location for my business. I also don't like the idea of location needing to be on for this app. I returned this label maker and went with a DYMO handheld. I just need a basic label maker, nothing fancy.
