This is exactly what I needed I did purchase the smaller size the larger size holds two more pairs of adult shoes the cabinet under cushion is small but you can store gloves hats scarves or dog leashes I think it's lovely as for what I needed it. Place to put on and take off my shoes. It is a good height for me I am 5'2" it comes to my knee just a bit shorter than my couch.I would recommend it and very easy to put together for one person. For the one review that was wobbly I wouldn't say it was the product but the assembler... My bench is very sturdy all pieces are labeled! No Xtra tools required they even include a small Phillips screw driver!! If you are looking for a shoe bench this one I would definitely recommend

We love our new sit and pull shoes on and off. Specially during this winter snow season. The wood tone is beautiful, shoes spaces are great. Even a slot for my husband's boots. Lift the seat and store gloves, scarfs, and etc. Easy to assemble. Even a screw driver was included. This is heavy. Very sturdy. No wiggle anywhere. A great piece of furniture. Great value for the money. User friendly.

If you need one, this bench is an excellent choice, with a few caveats. Packaging was very good as nothing was damaged. The exception is the instructions were not separated from the seat cushion and the print transferred from the instructions directly onto the seat itself. Where we have this located by the back door it is usually dark and we hope that in time it will wear off. Instructions are good and the assembly time fairly short. Two comments on the assembly. First, some pictures you see on line show the larger open area to the left, others to the right. Assembly is laid out with it on the right side. I believe you can rotate assembly piece #5 180 degrees and it will put the larger opening on the other side (i.e. swap the front with the back, do not flip it over). Second, side panels #3 and #4 can easily be put on backwards. You have a 50/50 chance of getting it right – I got both wrong. Not a big deal, just took a little more time to take them off and fix my mistake. On the panels, the hole diameter for the screws is different on one side vs the other. You want to have the larger hole on the outside so the screw head will be completely recessed. If your screw head protrudes over the surface, you got it wrong, turn it around. Last, it comes with stickers that are intended to cover the afore mentioned screw heads. It is a good concept and in a darker area, it is not that obvious. Unfortunately, they do not stick very well, so with half on and half off, it doesn’t look quite as nice. I have included pictures to show the assembled bench, the stickers and a attempt to show the dark print on the seat cushion. Overall I would give it 4.5 stars, but since that is not possible, it gets 4 stars and a recommendation. This bench fit our space well, is sturdy helps us keep all the shoes in one spot so we do not trip over them when we come in the door and it is a nice place to sit and put on/ take off your shoes. The storage space under the seat cushion is small, but nice to have for hats and gloves that are used less often, keeping them off the counter.

I received this in one business day. Happy to say the product met and exceeded expectations. The wood looks and feels fantastic. No blemishes at all. Feels solid, quality. I had zero trouble assembling this. Just need to pay close attention to the instruction drawings, but I've assembled similar furniture maybe once a year and this was a piece of cake to me. I love the hidden storage. Was able to squeeze my size 12 shoes in as hoped. 7 pairs. Looks great. Kids love the bench. I might be able to use it as an exercise bench, if its as strong as advertised! Ha!

I was initially very happy with this relatively attractive, comfortable, and small shoe storage bench. For the first 3 months it was great, but the inherently flawed design proved this product has limits. Because of the screw twist holding mechanisms at each corner, the joints loosen over time. Like all particle board, assembled furniture, the joining mechanisms are the weak link. This is further weakened because all weight is on the two side vertical pieces, which only attach to the base by simple screw twists in particle board. The slight back and forth or side to side movement of the whole bench puts so much strain on these joints, that eventually they fail. And once they do the entire thing comes tumbling apart. At which point repair is difficult because the particle board loses its integrity. I’d recommend using wood glue on every joint when initially assembling. This will prevent slipping of the screw twist joints. Perhaps also don't sit on it.

This bench was fairly easy to build. It is super strong. We like the colour, as well as the cubbies, under seat storage and comfortable cushion seat. A great addition, and a great value.

Got the 31” one for another spot which looked quite nice. This one is a different construction, which exposes all the screws. The screws don’t lie flat so the sticker covers don’t work. It doesn’t look nearly as nice and the cushion is a different color than the 31”. It seems sturdy enough, but if I’d known the screws showed I wouldn’t have bought it.

I was nervous about buying this because the sturdiness was rated poorly. I think I understand why: the assembly instructions aren’t very good, so for someone who isn’t experienced with assembly this could be tricky. I suspect those who wrote or shot video of the bench being wobbly didn’t realize they needed to insert and/or tighten the connector cams (part A). I sat on it just fine and I’m not exactly lightweight. The cushion on the white option looks like a beige or greige (hard to tell sometimes from pictures so FYI). I wish it had more of a soft-close quality for the top storage compartment but for the price this is an excellent piece. I put little vinyl bumpers on mine to help with this. Another FYI: there’s nothing on the bottom so I’d recommend also getting some felt pads or sticky pads if you have hard floors.

Great quality, elegent, dimensions as mentioned, it can hold a maximum of 5 shoes, thus it fits an entrance more than a general purpose shoe storage.

This is a great little entry way bench. It also has hidden storage under the seat. Very sturdy and easy to build.

No seat sponge and a little different from images. Only the wooden part is included

This bench/shoe rack looks great. It was easy to assemble. Good strong bench. Looked so much nicer than the shoe rack I was using and the bonus I have a seat to sit on when I'm putting on my shoes.
