4SGM TSN1714 Coffee Shaking

Appearances are almost everything with a sign like this, and they have gotten the distressed look down pretty well. The surface of the printed material is textured, which is better than a flat metal surface. On the other hand, the texturing is uniform across the whole surface, which can dispel the illusion of age and distress if the sign is viewed at a low angle of incidence where light can reflect off of the "rusted" parts. This hasn't been an issue for me and would really only come up if the sign were hung near and perpendicular to a window or side light. Physically, the sheet metal is of a heavy enough gauge to prevent all but the most subtle bending if the sign is supported from the bottom (due to space constraints in my cube, it worked better the support it from cube wall hooks than to hang it), and it's not so heavy as to make it difficult to support on a fabric cube wall. The four corner mounting holes are visually unobtrusive and could easily be used to mount the sign as well.

Gave this to my sister for the holidays, she's a big fan of coffee and appreciates the Andy Warhol touch to the sign. Bear in mind this is not a poster, its a metal sign and a good-sized one at that. If you have friends who like coffee, have a good sense of hospitality, and a candid sense of humor this would be a fine gift.

Sturdy, well made. Larger than I expected - should have paid more attention to the size. Very nice though and cute!

This goes perfect in my "glamour girl" themed apartment, hung on the wall next to my coffee pot. Its a tin sign with 4 small nail holes on the edges for hanging (probably would not look good or go well in a frame). From a bit of a distance it does look like an old tin sign. It's not too thin like a couple of other ones I have. It's a nice departure from all the framed pictures I have on the wall.
