We start with our own nearly 3/8" thick, vintage style, 5-ply shell and skillfully add solid maple reinforcement rings, 30-degree round-over bearing edges and, to enhance sensitivity, we add deep, flat, wide-cut snare beds. Remo drumheads, pure sound 20-strand snare wires, and inward-flange steel hoops are standard on these snares that both you and your sound tech will love!  Chicago Drum...Because history matters. We built some of the finest drums for the best players in the world. Now it's time to experience our version of a timeless classic. From our skilled hands to yours.
