These are necessary
I buy cheap thread often, but I always keep Coats and Clark black and white thread on hand. It doesn't tangle, fray or break as easily. Definitely worth the money.

Who doesn’t need a roll of black and a roll of white thread? My only, is that the thread is a tad thin. I don’t repair things often enough to have known that I was looking for a bit thicker thread.
