Great option for tech that need to swap drives or reimage. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works as expected. *by G***T on November 10, 2016* Needed a way to read and write mSATA devices and this USB adapter does the trick. It is a USB 3 device so it is quick and I have had no problems so far. The only thing I wasn't 100% happy with is the mSATA hold down screws. These screws are very small and they are not easy for me to use. As mentioned in other reviews, there is no protective case but this is a plus for my needs and, the lack of a case, is very apparent from the picture/description. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works with Samsung EVO 1TB SSDs *by H***H on November 3, 2014* I've had this and used it for about 6 months and it is solid. I've added a second and used it for a few months and it has also worked flawlessly.Firstly, I fitted a 1TB Samsung EVO mSATA drive. Then I initialized it in Win7 Disk Mgr, made a simple volume, and then formatted it as exFAT. Everything functioned as expected, including file copies.Performance:1GB worth of 4K files (small files) transferred from a USB 3 Patriot Magnum thumbdrive took 1 min 35 seconds.A (large) 1GB iso file transferred from a USB 3 Patriot Magnum thumbdrive took 0 (zero) min 12 seconds.I deployed two of them as primary storage devices attached to a USB 3.0 hub attached to a notebook computer.
