A: According to the label: 150 grams / 5.3 ounces.

**Q: Is this yellow bromine cartridge the same as the green one? I have always used green Bromine and now can't find it.**
A: From HotTubWarehouse:  A lot of people ask what the difference is between the Purple and Green 200 Gram Bromine Cartridges. They are the exact same. Brands such as Caldera, Hot Springs, Tiger River, Lime Light etc. sell the purple cartridges to their dealers. Brands such as Marquis, Emerald, Leisure Bay, Pacific, and Saratoga etc. sell the green cartridges to their dealers. The Yellow, Purple and Green Bromine Cartridges are interchangeable and can be used in place of each other.Looks like yellow is 150grams and green/purple are 200 grams.

**Q: My dealer has purple cartridges with 200 g of bromine which they claim 33% more than yellow (=150 g of bromine in the yellow/green). true?**
A: This is true. the purple does contain more bromine. So for those with experience where the purple would last four weeks at say a setting of 3, a yellow cartridge would last three weeks at the same setting.  The bromine contents are the same, and the release rate should be the same as far as I know.  There are online suppliers who sell the purple canisters as well, not just dealers.

**Q: What is the level of Bromine in this cartridge?**
A: Not sure what the question means? There are six settings on the cartridge, not counting zero, that allow the amount of bromine being dispensed to vary. The amount being dispensed can be reduced if too much bromine is measured in the water and increased if too little is measured. Hope that helps.
