I'm thrilled with the purchase of the chess set; it's high quality and looks very classy. While we did have some accidents with some of the pieces, the customer service to replace the pieces was fantastic. I've already recommended them to friends and family, who always comment on the set and it's quality.

The chess figures really look like traditional pieces. I did not give it five stars for craftsmanship, only because they were not there nicest chess pieces this company makes. But for around the $60 price that I paid, the chess pieces are still very nicely carved and worth the price. To get there nicer looking chess pieces, at the time that I looked, they were over $100. I was concerned at around $60 that the set would not be real marble. Well, it is real marble. It's not top quality marble, but nice marble for a chess set. Because of it being real marble, the board is relatively heavy for a chess board. It's definitely not a "travel on vacation" chess set. I was also concerned, that at such a low price for a marble chess set, that the board would not hold together. I've had it for about one year. With the normal use I've given it, it it holds together very well. I don't think I will have to be concerned in the future that the marble squares for the board will fall apart. It also looks great on my living room table. Because of how impressive it looks, I think it makes me look like a better chess player then I actually am. So, I hope that might give me an advantage and intimidate the other player to help me win.

Love this chess set. I bought the white and grey oceanic set & it's so beautiful. Unfortunately, my 3 yr. old daughter ended up losing 2 of the knights, so I emailed RADICALn with my dilemma. They were super understanding and easy to deal with. After providing them with my original amazon order ID and pictures of my current set, they provided me with an amazon link to purchase 2 replacement pieces & assured me that the new pieces would match. I only needed 2 knights but they ended up sending 4, 2 of each color! I got the new pieces only a few days later & they matched perfectly. I'm a very happy customer! :D

Every piece feels heavy and good in the hand. The only thing to note is there is no carrying case and you have to put the pads on the bottom of every piece yourself.

Beautiful, even more beautiful than I'd hoped for - well worth it, and just a gorgeous centrepiece for our coffee table, even the kids play it, admittedly the pieces are marble so breakable, but sturdy enough for a responsible player. We've been playing every evening, it's gorgeous to look at too!

Beautiful set! Even better than I was hoping for. It was a Christmas present for my dad, but when I unpacked it to wrap, I was tempted to keep it for myself! Considering getting another set, so in love!
