It's a great tool. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cheap and well built *by T***E on May 10, 2023* I could have made one but it would have taken more time. In all honesty this item works if you take your time and apply downward pressure while u twist. Can’t go wrong for the price. Works on 99-07 f350 that I know of. I don’t know if the 08-23 use the same type of retaining ring but based on a quick google image search, it’s the same type of retaining ring (plastic with raise indentations). So im going to say it works 99-23. If u take out quite a few of them, weld the arms in place. Or even buy a few since they are that cheap and weld them in place for the “big three” truck manufacturers.I don’t know why you would fault the tool if it doesn’t work or it busted your ring retainer - it’s not specific to just one particular vehicle. Takes some skill and know-how to avoid damaging the retainer. Sometimes it’s unavoidable all together.I generally remove the retainer with a blunt chisel and it works well but I wanted something I can remove and tighten the retainer ring faster and more consistently. This fits the bill. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The little cheap tool that could… and did. *by G***R on June 22, 2024* Needed to replace my fuel pump in my 1999 Jeep Sahara. Once you adjust the arms snuggly and be sure to tighten the wing nuts it turned the lock ring. It didn’t slip on the initial turn at all. The wing nut loosened up on its own somehow. Worked well tightening also. It’s a great tool for a light duty task. I’d change out the wing nuts for nylon lock nuts next.Pictures show old pump. Pump removed.
