## Description

Pro Micro ATmega32U4 5V 16MHz Micro-USB Development Module Bootloadered IDE with 2 Row pin Header Microcontroller Board Replace ATmega328 Pro Mini 1. The Pro Micro is similar to the Pro mini except with a ATmega32U4 on board. The USB transceiver inside the 32U4 allows us to add USB connectivity on board and do away with bulky external USB interface 2. This tiny little board does all of the neat-o A-rduino tricks that you're familiar with: 4 channels of 10-bit ADC, 5 PWM pins, 12 DIOs as well as hardware serial connections Rx and Tx. Running at 16MHz and 5V, this board will remind you a lot of your other favorite compatible boards but this little guy can go just about anywhere. If you're supplying unregulated power to the board, be sure to connect to the "RAW" pin on not VCC. 3. This latest revision corrects the silk error from the last version of the board so that pin 14 is correctly labeled. We've also added a PTC fuse and diode protection to the power circuit and corrected the RX and TX LED circuit. Feature: ATmega32U4 running at 5V/16MHz Supported under A-rduino IDE v1.0.1 Recommand power supply for board: 6-7V, less than 9V On-Board micro-USB connector for programming 4 x 10-bit ADC pins 12 x Digital I/Os (5 are PWM capable) Rx and Tx Hardware Serial Connections Our SmallestCompatible Board Yet Package includes: 3pcs Pro Micro ATmega32U4 Module

Review: Yes, this is a Leonardo, which IS a Pro-Micro, but with more pins. The fact that we can't downvote the reviews that are complaining about his is ridiculous. Board works great, flashes very fast. Only downside is the lack of documentation and pinouts, but if you search enough you can find them. Besides the screenprint on the board here is more pin info. Note that the pinouts on the board are NOT in order, so take notice. I'll go down the left side of the board. I'll list the board description along with features. When you see just a number, that's a digital IO TX0 - 1 (this is "digital pin 1") TX1 - 0 GND GND 2 - SDA - A4 3 - SCL - A5 - PWM 4 - A6 5 - PWM 6 - A7 - PWM 7 8 - A8 9 - A9 - PWM on the right side of the board, going down RAW GND RST VCC 21 - A3 20 - A2 19 - A1 18 - A0 15 - SCLK 14 - MISO 16 - MOSI 10 - A10 - PWM
Review: These worked just fine after some cable trial and error. Not all USB cables are created equally so if your new card doesn't respond when plugged it, try a different cable (preferably one that came with a phone). Once recognized by my PC everything worked as it should!

It is my go to for most things I need. It compiles and loads fast. I use it to automate mouse and keyboard tasks. It is the first thing I grab to test peripherals because it seems faster to use. I bought this after trying the USB-C version (because I'm used to the micro USB and expect the USB-C to replace it eventually). ADC behaves differently but did not spend time to understand the difference; it was a problem for something I was trying. The USB-C is harder to insert and remove. So I bought three orders of this in case the micro USB is no longer available.
