Just what I wanted. Shake it up....press down the tip a few times....pen worked perfectly. Not thick, did not smear, dried fast. Labeled all the clothes we needed to identify while traveling. PERFECT PEN

This pen was assigned the duty of labeling dark-fabric clothing for someone in a nursing home. I was tired of cutting up bits of white fabric to sew in! The pen has performed nicely. The only weakness is that it has a full tip that writes a bit thickly like a crayon rather then finely like a pen. Probably that's necessary with ink which so quickly thickens and dries, as white always does.

Ordered on May 16, 2025. It wrote on day one, and today, Aug 11, 2025, with a little shaking and pressing the nib to get it going, it did fine. You can hear the liquid paint inside sloshing around. Frankly, I was surprised because I'm used to cans of spray paint going bad/dry/unusable in 3 months. I would recommend this product for anyone. I had to mark a cushion (I use on my roll-ater assisted walking device), and it still looks like day one, even after washing it, twice.

Purchased as a replacement for a Sharpie. Disappointed! Didn't even get a chance to use it as it arrived dry and unable to use. Cannot recommend this item.

When this white marker worked, it worked great -- but it didn't last long (needed more ink in it)!

I got this to see if it would help with very dark (several inches wide), large permanent black sharpie stains on a bedspread after many oxi soakings and many other efforts, all the methods. I didn't think it would work. Here's what I did: First applied it really heavily, several coats, scribbling back and forth, until the ink stain was covered (floral bedspread). It did cover the stain, to my surprise. Took just a minute to do that. So now have a big white spot. Then purchased colored (also waterproof) fabric pens, a lot of them, and matched up the pattern. Using the white and various colors in layers I was able to do that pretty well - no one can spot it. Took about 10 minutes and a little artistry. This amazed me. I'm away from home but will add pic when I return. This wouldn't work so well on, say, a white shirt, as the whites and texture probably wouldn't perfectly match, unless it was a tiny, not front and center spot. But this is a very beloved and expensive Pottery Barn bedspread and I'm delighted. I haven't washed it yet, but if the color fades (it's not supposed to) it's just so easy and quick to do again. So - colored fabric dye pens alone won't cover a black ink stain, but over a white one they will. And you can work with the colored ones to match better by layering them, to a large extent anyway. Another option that works (I did this elsewhere) is to dab bleach on an ink stain on a colored print until it's almost gone. Careful, it spreads and leaves a white spot; use tiny bit of bleach. Then heavy white fabric dye over any bit of smudge that's left, and then continue/duplicate the pattern on that with dye pens. Tricky but possible to match colors if you get a lot of the pens. Again, this is only worth it on an item that you really care about preserving.

I live in an ALF, our laundry is washed here by the aides. If any items that get left behind. These markers are the best way of getting name or initials in them they do come home. Easy to use name has not faded.

I bought this pen to write our surname on the outside of our suitcases so they were better identified on the collection belts at airports. I also wrote our address on the inside in case they got lost by the airline. I’ve also used it to write names in my children’s black school shoes. Just don’t forget to shake the pen before each use (you’ll here the ball bearing rattle like a tin of car paint etc.,) and press down gently on the nib of the pen (on a scrap of paper / cardboard etc) to soak the nib in the paint before you start to write on your item.

Package was held in customs for two weeks and damaged upon receipt.

Fabulous colour on fabric, easy to use. Only problem was that when priming by shaking, if you've been using it for a while it can splatter, but it was only a few drops and I guess if I'd though it through, I'd have put the cap back on before shaking it again. Would definitely buy again.
