It's sturdy and it is right size for my study room. It was easy to put together.

Does the job nice and Saturday hold my 2 computer screens and laptop with room left over.

I wanted a simple, stylish desk that was the right height for me ergonomically & had plenty of leg room since I like to sit in lotus position and "criss-cross applesauce" most of the time. This desk really hit the mark! It's perfect! I'll probably get another one to use for my 9-5er now that I'm working from home, but I'll get a longer one for that since I have 2 monitors and a bunch of file folders to keep on my desk. This desk was SUPER easy to put together; I didn't even need the instructions. I built it on my 30 minute lunch break and still had time to fry eggs for lunch. I did have to eat while I answered emails, though, so it wasn't THAT quick to put together. I love the simple design, and I'm glad I went with the maple color, as it brightens up the room that the previous tenant decided to paint dark orange. Another aspect of this desk that I love is that my mouse works flawlessly on it without a mouse pad. If you need storage like I do, I recommend getting a filing cabinet on wheels (be sure to measure the height so you can keep it under the desk if you want). One of the best things about this desk is that there aren't any drawers or cabinets taking up leg/foot room, and it would be silly to ruin that with a stationary storage system. I ordered a mobile filing cabinet from Tangnade on Amazon & it should be exactly what I need - a mobile cabinet for binders, with a drawer for pens & notebooks. Overall, I would definitely recommend this desk if it's the right height for you. Take height measurements of where your arms/wrists are (add in some height for your keyboard/mouse) when you're sitting in your chair with your feet comfortably on the ground and your forearms are parallel to the floor. Google "ergonomic desk setup" for a visual. This 28" high desk will NOT be for everyone, so please be careful when you're buying! Don't strain yourself! :)

This is a very easy easy desk to assemble. Mine is sturdy and I don't feel placing heavier items on it would be a problem. There were no major defects on the finish of the legs or base top. When I first put this together i viewed the square legs were not straight? and it weren't flush with the floor..actually would rock ..Of course I was disappointed. I took out my leveler and found it was bit off at each end but each side was fine. So I looked at the diagram to check. I did place the sides in correctly what I decided to try was to turn the sides around. so it would still fit as shown in the diagram. Whoa..to the whola! the legs were now flushed to the floor ..so no more rocking baby! I put it on it's top side and attached the top..suggestion. part screw in counter synch..one at each end..then a side ..another end screw and side and end..then tighten them but not crazy tight. you will hear the sound of them going in and u don't want to stress the inner part Since a reviewer Mike realized it's "Made in China" The top is fine..only time will tell but I won't be eating my desk. The only wish is if the edges weren't sharp. as I do tend to lay my arms while typing. For the price and the look is good. I got the maple and it goes great with my new color scheme of silver gray walls and accented colors on the walls.
