I have fallen out of PC gaming these days, but I am sure it would work well for gamers, since those are their primary customers. I recently ordered a more expensive mouse by the same company and although it looks very cool and has more custom buttons I was looking forward to using in my software, the wheel irritated my finger. It isn't smooth like this model. I am sure it is made for better grip, but this model is better for lots of middle mouse clicking. I kept that one for weekends and ordered another one of these to replace the older one that was starting to fail after many years of hard usage. I love these wired mice over wireless.....more responsive and less prone to glitching.
