Head IX 120 Squash Racquet

My 9th-grade son used this for the final two weeks of last year's squash season then one week at a summer squash camp. Now he's seven weeks into this year's squash season . . . and the racquet just broke. Bummer. His backup is the Black Knight 8110, which he says feels a little too heavy. If anyone has a suggestion for a lightweight intermediate racquet that will hold up better but won't break the bank, I'm all ears.

This is a good racket while it lasts, however it cracked within 4 months. It does have a light head but this seems like an exceptionally short period of time for the racket to crack given most decent players have to scrape balls off the walls.

I've used this racket all for about 5 years.But this piece that I got looks fake.It didn't have the head hologram and the quality of the racket was certainly not what I've been used to by head.

Excellent racquet for middle level players. Beautifully balanced, allows for powerful shots. Been playing for 15 years and onto the third racquet in last five years. Racquet s broke due to own faults. However a bit circumspect of old stock...go for it

Firstly the main issue i have with this is that on Amazon this is advertised as a racket reduced or in some sort of sale down from nearly £150 to £55 when I bought it. Simple research online shows this is a £55 racket that retails for that at nearly every other supplier. The racket itself is brilliant, super light. Can not fault it at all. Really feel the ball ping off it

This is a really good racquet for intermediate players.

I like this racquet very much.stroke is powerful. Rough and tough for use.
