Very nice, works good for fiber laser engraving, decent thickness,good stain resistance. I suppose you could get good use as coasters, but not very scratch resistant as it is a very soft material.

I used these with my laser to make a retirement plague. It turned out beautifully. I will be ordering more.

A little smaller than I expected but worked out perfectly. Heavy, not too thin but very sturdy I used them for a brunch. I like how versatile they are in serving cold or hot items on them.

- The soapstone chalks included with the product arrived broken inside the package as were not in bubble wrap! - The product dimensions are 5.5 × 8 inches. It is only suitable for serving cheese or, at most, a few pieces of small desserts. The item shown in the pictures appears to be intended for serving food and appetizers, but the actual product is far too small and not suitable for that purpose. - The serving board is very thin, so it seems like it could easily break. - Initially small particles/flakes of the stone started coming off.

These slate boards are such great quality for the cost of the bundle. The thickness is perfect, and the functionality, for my crafts are amazing.! I use these for craft projects for my business as they could be used for a serving platter as well, and are easy to work with as they are scratch resistant!

These were exactly what I was looking for unfortunately 2 were broken when I received them.
