Whenever we get heavy rain the pond gets cloudy and we've been getting rain often.. We hooked this up yesterday and added it to our waterfall and we can already see a change in the water. Its not 100% yet, but can definitely see a change. We can see the bottom of the pond finally. We haven't had to clean it yet, so I cant say how easy or difficult it is, but I can't imagine its going to be different than our other filters which are pretty simple. I just ordered another one for our 2nd pond since it seems to clear it up pretty quick. UPDATE: pond is clear to the bottom after a couple days!

Works better than expected and I can see improvement in water clarity in less than a week. My pond is about 2,000 gallons and exposed to direct south Texas sun most of the day. The filter is fast and easy to install and comes with everything need except hose clamps. It took me less than a half hour to install. Good filter for cleaning and removing algae and other small particles. Recommended to my fellow pond owners.

Worked great for a month, then the UV just quit. Waiting on a replacement, hoping that this clunker was just a bad unit and it’s not a bad product. UPDATE: Don’t buy this steaming pile of crap from Amazon. After it shits the bed on you, there’s no decent plan for replacement. It’s fulfilled by a 3rd party, so they won’t send out a replacement until AFTER they receive this item. Meaning your pond will go without filtration for DAYS while you wait to get a new one back.

The filter works fantastic! I would have given it 5 stars but the directions sent with it are a little vague. I do have to say that their customer service was terrific! I had questions about how to set up the filter and heard back from someone the same day! Our pond was cloudy and it was hard to see the bottom. After using the filter for 24 hours our pond was completely clear! I would definitely recommend this product!

UPDATE: just got my replacement today and hooked it all up. My pond is around 2000G, and I had a pump/filter that was only 1000gph. I bought a pump that is 3200gph and used with this filter, and within 12 hours my water is crystal clear!! I can see to the bottom for the first time in forever! Before there was so much waste and muck in the water/on the sides that I could only see my beautiful fish when they came to the surface, I LOVE this filter! 😍 I still kept my other UV filter and pump running as it’s all hooked up to the waterfall, just added this to the other side... Was so excited to get this and get it all set up to help with my water clarity in my koi pond. Unfortunately the one i got was defective, and water poured out the top. Waiting on a replacement and if that one is defective I will be buying the pond guy all clear G2

This filter really cleared up the water in my pond within a week. I gave it 3 stars because the cleaning of the filter is a royal pain. I thought when I bought this that it had a backwash but it doesn't. You have to take the whole top apart, pull out the sponges to clean. I would recommend getting a filter that you're able to backwash the dirty water.

This is my second time using this product. My first one I used for 3 years with zero maintenance. 1 hour after installing this one it cleared up my koi pond. I can see my fish again. Now I can clean my old filter, change the uv bulb and store it. I plan to rotate my pond filter out every year…

Works really well and easily installed. Good product so far. will know more after cleaning out from use.
