I purchased for a pie basket for my wife. Our old one we bought at an antique store years ago and was falling apart.(probably 70 years old). The new basket is of comperatble quality construction and wife is very happy with it.

We received a round basket that had been damaged in shipping instead of the square basket. We received the replacement within 4 days or requesting it and it’s perfect! Very much recommended.

I bought this as a gift for my sister-in-law. She makes a wonderful apple pie. After more research than I expected, this pie basket was my choice. As I am NOT a baker, I hadn't thought about zippered totes getting warm pie crusts soggy, or mashing crust edges. She now has a beautiful basket (I chose the 2 tiered basket) that she can bring to any gathering, allowing her baked goods to shine. The basket can carry delicious casseroles, cupcakes, or even function as a light picnic basket. She said she has every intention of displaying this basket when it is not in use. I'd say all my research payed off well, as she loves it. And, both my mother and I have pie-basket envy. We don't even bake! It's that pretty!

Very well made and used as a wedding gift. My only complaint was the smell of the varnish but the seller made this disclaimer upfront.

This basket is a tidy way to carry two 10", deep dish pies at once. You can put "hot out of the oven" pies in this carrier and be on your way. Because it's a natural splint basket the steam from the pies is allowed to escape so the crusts don't get soggy. The lid is a large wooden surface that is perfect for adding some personalization like stenciling, etc.

Very disappointed, seems like it was barely stained. Very poor job. Maybe needs more coats? Not what I had hoped to see. The handles work do stiffly. Thinking will break soon. Would not recommend this product. Buy cheap basket at dollar store.

I ordered two of these baskets to have in time for Thanksgiving. They arrived the day before and when I opened the boxes, I discovered that the stain used on the baskets was still wet. Blobs of the stain were on the packing paper and the odor was strong. I had to leave them out overnight in hopes that they would be dry in time to hold the three pies we were taking on our trip. Everything worked out fine and I do like the baskets (well made, substantial, pretty) but the fact that they were obviously stained at the last minute didn't speak well of a professional finishing process.

Awesome handmade basket! Absolutely love it and far superior to anything you can find in a store. The Amish are talented craftsmen.
