Review: Takes a bit to get used to, but performs phenomenally! - Surprisingly different in how it's used compared to other spring tools, owing to the bend at the end of the tool changing how you have to leverage it to install/remove springs. It actually made me much slower at first, as I was attempting to use this the same way I would the straighter spring tools that are common. However, once you've figured out how to use it effectively, the additional leverage facilitates easier and quicker brake shoe changes compared to any other spring tool I've personally used. No complaints here.

Surprisingly different in how it's used compared to other spring tools, owing to the bend at the end of the tool changing how you have to leverage it to install/remove springs. It actually made me much slower at first, as I was attempting to use this the same way I would the straighter spring tools that are common. However, once you've figured out how to use it effectively, the additional leverage facilitates easier and quicker brake shoe changes compared to any other spring tool I've personally used. No complaints here.

Finally got to use this spring tool and have to say, that using other tools to hook anchor springs, that this is the better way, and once figuring how to apply this tool made the brake job a breeze on the other side. I have been a class8 and above diesel tech for about 13 years and this is one of the better tools I have bought.
