**Q: Thuja deer resistant?**
A: Somehow. Any animal who is very hungry will try anything that seems edible. Even if tastes bad, you will end up with a few holes here and there when they give it a try. Hares are worse as they munch the lower limbs and then go for the main trunk. So wrap the bottoms of the baby thujas with burlap during late fall, winter, and for the first month of spring. Once the trees are over 15 feet, the creatures will still try the greens but leave it alone after the second bite. Hope this helps.

A: I really don't know. I bought some seeds a while back, and stuck them in the refrigerator like the instructions said, but then I moved to another city so I never got a chance to plant them ... Sorry!

A: No, they are just common thuja seeds. From what I've read, the cultivar 'Green Giant' cannot be grown from seed. ('Green Giant' is a hybrid [cross between Japanese Thuja and Western Redcedar] & does not grow true from seed.)

**Q: Exactly how do i cold stratify my thuja green giant seeds using water and refrigerator?**
A: Wrap the seeds in a moist napkin and put them in the refrigerator ( Not on the freezer) for 30 days and they should be ready for planting after this treatment
