For me totally useless
This product is very thin and doesn’t seem to stick at all. Not sure if it is a “fluke” or if it is the normal feature of the product. Basically you could use anything else edible “sticky” which would do a better job! Additionally: It is not even cheap - so the worst of all worlds.

Good food glue
This comes out of the bottle somewhat watery but sets up strong. I used it to glue eyeballs onto cookies. I allowed about 30 minutes before moving the cookies. It dries a tan color.
