I am delighted with these glasses. I have been learning about the health benefits of blocking out blue light. I have been taking this a lot more seriously recently so was in the market for some good glasses. There are cheaper ones. There are more expensive ones. But these stood out as the best when looking into quality versus price. They are sturdy. They block blue brilliantly. They are slightly wraparound so they fit snug against the face. I am very pleased with the service as well.

It's really comfy just like a pair of glasses, way more comfy than uvex blue light goggles. And the build is sturdy too, can tell the company is passionate about safe lights for our eyes.

I didn't buy these to help me sleep. I bought them to block glaring headlights while i was trying to drive after dark . it had gotten to where I could not see to drive safely due to the LED and High Intensity headlights people are using now. I looked at the reviews on every pair of blue blockers on Amazon... i really did. this pair had an 80 and the closest was 76. Then i did some research outside of Amazon and found that the claims made by this mfg was inline with what other sources said about blue light and UV and green etc. So i took a chance. Last night I drove home from a wedding/reception 3 hours away from my home. I told my wife I'd drive until i experienced a problem. I pulled into my drive way and felt like I didn't have a problem the whole way. mountain roads, Highways, two lane roads i was in varied conditions including rain at night. I was able to see well enough to not have a problem. it literally makes the other headlights look yellowish to varied degrees. I'm not a scientist, I'm a 72 year old who doesn't want to have to depend on someone else driving to be safe at night. These have accomplished that and they fit well and are very comfortable. I feel like I have regained my independence/dignity back a little more and I don't have to ask my wife to drive like I was doing for about the last 6 months. I've tried other products which only block ~50% of blue light and they weren't quite cutting it for me, after trying these I can immediately see and feel the difference. The glasses also block light coming from the sides which was another issue I had with other glasses. I'm writing this review on the day I got the glasses so I cannot net say anything about changes in my quality of sleep, but from first impressions I'm expecting they will help.

Probably like most people, I started with the " blue blocker " glasses that are economy priced " cheep ". But soon find that they don't really " block " the blue as much as they just " darken " the blue. And without previous experience you'd probably think that's what they are supposed to do. These Spectra469 don't only block the blue, they practically " shut blue off ". I've been using the cheepos for nearly a year. When I put these ones on, I was shocked at the difference. Went around the house looking for blue stuff to look at. It was all black or dark grey. Movie cases, recycle bins, container lids, didn't matter. BLUE GONE. I've been missing out on this blue blocking thing totally with the cheepo $20 a pair glasses. After 2 or 3 minutes of owning and looking through this brand I ordered a second pair. $82 CDN including taxes, and worth every penny.
