Coloplast Brava Ostomy Powder 1 oz (3-Pack)

This is the only thing that keeps my baby’s butt rash free. We had a cabinet full of Rx and OTC creams and ointments, but it would get so bad and oozy that nothing would stick to it. The powder is the only thing that works and we like that this is nice and fine without being messy, it’s odorless and gentle on her sensitive skin, and has seriously kept her butt looking good. We use it first and then put just some basic Desitin cream on top. Before we started using this powder regularly, we dealt with chronic, persistent diaper rashes. Really bad ones. No matter what Rx stuff we used. And if we run out of this stuff, it starts to get red again, so I’ve now started buying these in the three packs.

My daughter gets diaper rash easily and this works great to correct it. We use it with the Boudreaux's Butt Paste Maximum strength and it usually clears up a rash really quickly. Since we have been using this it is rare that we have a rash that lasts more than a day or two.

When my twins were in the NICU the butt paste used there was created using Bravo Powder and Aquaphor. My mixture includes 3/4 Oz of powder to 1 oz of Aquaphor. I only use this when the babies have a more severe case of diaper rash. I would check with your babies pediatrician just to make sure you CLEAR IT WITH THEM FIRST!! As I said this was being used on my twins for 2 months while they were in the NICU so I knew it was okay. this product is normally used to absorb excess moisture for people with colostomy bags. It is used in a different way for them so just make sure you do your research before using the product!
