Works great!
Simple. Saves money! This 3 gallons of RV antifreeze and a little fuel stabilizer in the gas tank and you're good to go for the winter

Works well. Not complicated.
Tub works great, hold plenty of fluid, and is simple to use. I have a 5.7l mercury and it worked well for winterizing. Hose was good, connections weren't thin and cheap. No issues.

This a great kit to winterize your boats inboard engine
This a great kit to winterize your boats inboard engine. When using this kit it is critical that you run the motor up to operating temperature before you start allowing it to draw in the anti-freeze. You need the engine to be hot so that the thermostat opens and pumps anti-freeze through the entire engine. I started the boats engine using the setting for allowing only water to be drawn into the motor and let it run up to operating temperature and waited for several minutes before shutting the engine off so that I could close the water feed and open the anti-freeze valve, restarted the engine and let it draw the anti-freeze into the engine, this took several minutes. Once the anti-freeze was gone, shut the motor down and opened the freeze plugs on the exhaust manifolds and engine block, pink anti freeze came out of each point confirming that antifreeze had gone through the entire cooling system. I then removed each spark plug and fogged each cylinder with cylinder fogging oil. I had added Sea foam to the fuel last time I filled the tank on the boat so my fuel should be good for the winter. I use to remove the top hoses and open the freeze plugs on the engine, pour anti freeze into the hoses until it came out of the freeze plugs. Using this kit definitely made it easier, you just have to be certain that you did fill the entire cooling system with anti freeze.

if you own a boat, this is a must have item, no more trying to get at hard to reach block drains , takes all of about 5 mins to hook up the ears, fire up watch for pink coming out, DONE

Money saver
Exactly as described and worked perfectly. Obviously I won’t be 100% sure until the spring, but I’m 99% sure I’m completely ready for a hard Michigan winter. Saved myself $400 doing it myself.

Unit works with some issues. Read on.
The unit itself works fine no leaks etc. BUT! I have a 540CI tall deck V8 GM style engine. It is equipped with an oil cooler and a power steering cooler for the Latham hydraulic steering. After bringing engine up to temp we opened the valve and induced ALL 5 gallons of eco friendly minus100 degree anti-freeze into the running engine. To check I removed one the block brass drain plugs. The liquid that came out was still FAR to clear for my winterizing of a $20+K engine. So I drained the block and the exhaust system. Then pulled the top large water pump hose and dumped another gallon of -100 into the hose and water pump and turned it over a couple of times. Boat is stored in a non-heated building in Tenn. and it does get very cold there at times. I also keep a small 800 watt electric marine dehumidifier (heater) in the engine compartment. As long as the electricity stays on??? It is on a timer that runs it 4 times a day for 30 minutes each time. Bottom line is... Unit probably works great for 4, 6, and small V8 engines that don't hold as much water and would not dilute the antifreeze as much. But if you have a LARGE big block engine?? Be careful.

Les valve de plastique me semble un peu fragile. Mais fait très bien la job. Simple et efficace pour remiser pour l’hiver mon Mercruiser 350 5.7 MPI. Faire fonctionner le moteur avec les oreilles sur le pied pour réchauffer le moteur ala température normale de fonctionnement afin que le thermostat soit bien ouvert. Ensuite on ferme l’eau et ouvre la valve du réservoir pour pomper l’antigel. Et c’est fait.
