Competitively priced. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great protection for any outlet, not just structured wiring. *by E***E on October 3, 2012* While I do have the structured wiring cabinet this item is intended to go in, it is important to note it will work in a regular J-Box as well. It comes with the metal J-Box intended to slide into the structured wiring cabinet, however you can remove this and put it in a standard box as well. Keep in mind that the outlet is larger than a standard non-protected outlet, and you will want to make sure you have enough room in the box. If you have two of these in a standard or shallow J-Box, it will be very tight. Also note that you can attach this to protect the circuit downstream as well. I ended up wiring the surge protected outlet above my structured wiring cabinet where I have a wall rack for the networking equipment. Being able to have two outlets with surge protection for the price of one was a welcomed bonus!
