Will this stuff go bad? Only curious because it will take a long time to go through 2000 packets.

I go through about 3000 packets a year as we use them for tea coffee and sometimes to sweeten not quite sweet enough fruit. I buy 4000 packets at time as I'm not concerned about the deterioration of the contents as they are in a wrapper that is impervious to moisture. I guess I've used product over 2 years old as we have a vacation home where we take many gross at a time. I'm sure some of those packets are several years old. Does not lose sweetness over time or heat as does aspartame. I'm not a scientist but I do research on consumable products. So far I think Splenda is a good one and buying it in bulk is safe time wise and price wise via Amazon. My spouse has arthritis and the store packets are not as easy to open. Hope this helps

How many teaspoons of sugar does each packet equal?

The packet says NET WT 0.035 OZ (1g) If I pour the entire packet in a 1/4 teaspoon it is heaping.
