Good phone mount.
I'm glad I went with this model of phone mount. It is very sturdy, easy to use. Holds my phone well, Galaxy S24+, grips the phone well below the side buttons. I like the controls for adjusting x and y axis, makes positioning of the phone camera lens easy. The price was good too. Better to pay a little extra than buying a cheap mount which would be more difficult to use.

Smartphone adapter that's easy to use
I wanted a smartphone adapter that would allow me to take photos via my Hawke Endurance 10x42 monocular and after much research decided on the Celestron Nex-Go Universal Smartphone Adapter. There were cheaper options but I looked at reviews and judged this to be a good choice, and I am not disappointed. The adapter is well engineered, has the functions I need and is quick and easy to use in the field. It's also reasonably priced. All in all, a useful gadget to have on my hiking and bird-spotting adventures.

Pretty good, after a little adjustment.
It's been useless so far. Everything moves around too much, the joints wobble like crazy, making it impossible to take a picture. I couldn't even get my S24 Ultra lined up with the lens! I gave up using the mount in the end; it was easier to hold the camera in my hands. If I can fix it, I'll update my review.

Are you an octopus?
I'm not sure I can recommend this. People seem to rave about phone mounts, and this one seems pretty solid, but I find it infuriating! You've got to keep so many axis all aligned perfectly before you can get a picture - unless you're an octopus, you're in for a fun time. Firstly, your phone camera needs to be the right distance away from, and exactly over the centre of the eye piece. You phone wants to do its own focussing and setting and whatever, so you'll probably want to switch to manual to stop it "helping". You'll then need to fiddle with those settings to get it right. Next, your object has to be in the middle of the available area for the picture. Essentially, there's a black circle of available picture on a black background. You now need to get your object into that space, that you can't see. Also, it's a lot smaller than you think you can see when you look in the eyepiece with your eyes. I couldn't get the moon to even fill the screen width-wise (YMMV). Lastly, your telescope will move when you attach this mount, or play with the phone attached to it, or adjust it, or anything else. You're back to fighting to get the object in the black circle once again. The phone doesn't "see around the edges" of the view finder like your eyes can, so it can be tricky to find the object (so make sure your sighting scope is in good nick!). You may also want to look at a timer setting on your phone, so you can press the shutter button, the telescope and everything else can stop wobbling and then the phone takes the picture. Oh, and don't forget the "slop" of the mount itself. There are three small screws that can tighten up the slop, but if you over tighten, you can't move the camera left to right - and you need to do that to be able to reach the screws. You can't hope for the best with this either, because the weight of the phone will mean that it's at a slight angle to the eyepiece, which means... yep, you can't see the object properly. With a bit of patience you can get some decent pictures out of a phone with this mount. You just need a bit of patience (it's nothing like the manual which claims you just clip in your phone and get going). I suspect as mounts go, this is a fairly good one (possibly excepting the slop problem), but be ready for a bit of fiddling about - in the dark, and in the cold.

Superior design..a bargain
Light weight strong great design. I have used other adapters with little success. This one is the best. Holds phone securely attaches firmly to telescope. Adjusting the adapter is easy. Attach your phone align with eyepiece by adjusting two smooth turning knobs. Ready in seconds
