Easy Install and works great
I decided that I wanted to add the Wi-Fi Module to one of my Pioneer 12k Mini splits that did not come with that function. The install was relatively easy as long as your careful pulling out the board. It plugs into the assigned slot, carefully route your wire and other wires in and slide the board back in. The Diamante Pro already has a slot for the module that you just screw it into and Viola, you can now use the Pioneer app with the mini split. I have an 18k unit which came with the Wi-Fi already built into it and using the app allows greater and easier control than just the remote. For $35 to add the Wi-Fi is absolutely worth it.

Well worth it!
When purchasing the mini split I didn’t think WiFi would be too important however turning on the AC as I leave work & coming home to a cool room is great.Installation wasn’t too bad just had to slide the board out & plug the module in. Pairing was a bit tricky scanning the QR code didn’t work, I would suggest setting up in AP mode.Once paired you’re able to access extra features. Would definitely recommend the upgrade its features are worth the cost.

It works
Install was quick took less than 10 minutes I was able to connect WiFi app to my unit after buying the diamate unit and figuring out after install I needed this, only complaint would be the wires make the cover pop open on the corner had to tape wires and cover to stop it from happening

Installation and pairing not simple, but worth the trouble.
This wifi unit is not as easy to install or setup as other brands that I have used, but if you can manage to get it running, it's well worth it! It has features that the remote simply doesn't....LOTS more! I can check the temps while away and adjust as needed, along with precise controls over fan speed and direction and many other settings.

Very hard pass on the app and brand
Nothing wrong with this module, but the environment itself. The app you think to get is wrong and it never worked. You have to get the SmartLife-SmartHome app. It doesn't tell you anywhere and I have no idea how I figured it out. Honestly I'd pass on the pioneer if I were you and try a different Chinese brand if you're on a budget. Poor build and pieces don't fit together quite right. Went in late in the season so we haven't had to run the AC yet other than a few minutes for testing.

Installed in minutes!
I had no idea this was available but I am so glad it is. I have a hard time seeing the remote and telling what mode it is in. With this device and the app I can control my air conditioner from anywhere! Easy to read screen, super easy installation. Installed in less than 10 minutes, installing and configuring the app was another 10 minutes... Well worth the time and effort!

Easy setup and working great.
I had no issues getting this installed and set up.Just know that the circuit board it plugs into will not come out very easily or far. Take your time and you may have to reposition some wires to get the board out enough to plug in the cord. You only need the board to come up and couple inches to see the connection.I’m using an iPhone for the application. My only issue is that the application doesn’t change the settings on the remote control that comes with the system. If you have “cooling” selected on the remote, and change it to “heat” in the application, the remote still reflects “cooling” and will change the setting to cooling if you press any buttons make a change such as temperature.

Gets the job done
I was a bitt worried about this after seeing the mix reviews, but I already had the heat pump, so didn't have any other option. It arrives in a small box with just the WiFi unit and a small sheet of paper with three QR codes. The first downloads a PDF with pictures and instructions on how to install the unit. The second downloads a PDF on how to setup the app and connect the unit to your WiFi. The third is for registering the app. I thought everything went fairly straightforward. While I would of liked the USB stick-style installation other units have, it still only took a few minutes to get installed and connected. The app is a generic one from a third party, but it works. Connected into my Google Home system as well and can use voice commands without issue. Happy I purchased.
