Worked perfect on 2005 Chevy silverado
Worked perfect on 2005 Chevy silverado.Use the provided face plate and that locks in the 2 side plates used to mount the head unit to factory location. There are some spacers included in case the head unit needs to be spaced out to meet flush with the trim bezel. Do not throw those away.

Not worth the plastic bag it was sent in.
Cheap plastic spend the extra $10 and get a real install kit. You will thank me later.

2004 Pontiac Grand Am
I installed this product on a 2004 Pontiac Grand am. The installation was easy, I did not need the directions and just compared the factory radio mounting points when deciding how to mount the new radio.I was considering knocking off one star because there is a very small gap on the right side, probably 1 mm, and nobody but me will probably notice it. I tried unscrewing the radio and sliding it to the right as much as possible and still a slight gap. It is not that big of a deal but something you might want to consider.All things considered I would still recommend this product. You can not beat the price. Probably can't install an after market radio with out it.

the miss fortunes of same brand manufacturing.
easily did not grip and hold in place, and applying screws broke the mold. Combining this with Metra's front-face plastic for a Silverado did not let me use the frame it came with. I had to remove a piece of plastic I bought in a kit from the same brand to fit it with the mold.

exact fit.
Just what I needed. My new stereo/ head unit fit perfectly. The video RCA cable comes straight out the back of my unit so I drilled a hole in to accept the RCA cable. Stereo did not fit perfectly flush so I used the 2 spacers that came with this and it looks professionally installed.
