Great Product and Alternative to LOMI Enzyme Tablets
I bought this for my LOMI 2. Their subscription program is pricey so I thought, why not try this instead of their tablets? I am glad I did because they work as well and sometimes even better rendering the leftover food waste, soft and fluffy! I then toss it in my garden. I love how much waste it has saved from landfills. Although I have a composter outside as well as chickens and a garbage disposal, my LOMI is my first choice if food waste compatible. With this accelerator, which I also use in my outdoor compost bins and piles, I can not only help the environment but also save money by buying this instead of Loki’s pricey enzyme tablets. I also use fish tank charcoal for the filters which is exactly the same but quite less expensive.

Impressed, heats up compost well and breaks stuff down
Overall, I am really impressed. I use it for a few different processes. General composting: this has done a great job accelerating decomposition in my two composters. I aerate and turn regularly and I am usually met with a bunch of steam at every go, and I can see all the pieces getting smaller and more dirt-like. It helps a lot with compost odors so we don't get any critters in the compost. I live in a wet area so usually sprinkling the accelerator on before rain comes in helps a lot. With woodchips- this part is very impressive to me. I have evergreen woodchips which usually take awhile to break down but it has helped improve the process, even during the winter. In my dog septic- I have a pseudo-septic tank for dog waste. One of the things with dog waste is there will always end up being plant matter along with the dog business when scooping. We noticed our regular dog septic enzymes was doing well with its intended purpose, but it struggled with the plant debris. I started adding some of this to the tanks and now it works more effectively without getting clogged by plant fibers.

Good product
Worked well in one of my composters, but a little slow in the other one. Not sure what the difference was, but still a good product.

Bag smaller than expected.
Bag smaller than I expected. I actually haven’t used it yet because I had bought an electric composter that all it did was burn everything so haven’t needed it yet.

Well..............
Well, I guess if I had used it for what it was intended to be used for, it would've done alright. I used it to try and break down some leaves with which I used to cover my raised garden. It didn't quite break them down as quickly or as completely as I had hoped. I wound up vacuuming them out and putting them out for collection. Oh well, such is life.
