Air pressure regulator works well and also separates the water from the air!

So far it works as intended. As of lately I’ve been having problems with my air compressor spraying out water but I drain my tank and leave the drain open until I get ready to use it but it’ll still blow out water. I put this nice little gadget on and I sprayed the blower until all the water wouldn’t spray no more and i haven’t had any problems with water blowing out since then. When I say water, I mean a little moisture. It’s very easy to install and definitely worth having.

Well it fits, so that's good. Can't speak to it's longevity yet, as just installed, but so far so good.I was worried the water collector might be too large and hit on the top of the tank, but it works fine on mine. I didn't even need to tilt it any.Just had to unscrew the plastic water collector, and remove the small air supply line going into the cut-off switch in order to screw this new regulator and filter on.Overall I'm pleased, as long as it lasts for awhile. I kept my old pressure gauge as a backup just in case. The needle on the new gauge bounces around a lot when the compressor is running.Nice fix for my old leaky regulator, and get a filter as well. Win, win!

When we built our home I installed black pipe throughout connected to a 60 gallon kobalt compressor. Initially I had a ceiling mounted reel at the front between two garage doors. With 10ft ceilings this proved to be borderline useless. As part of a garage cleanup and storage reconfiguration I installed overhead shelving and needed to relocate the reel. Beyond the location, one of the problems has been the amount of condensation produced while using the air supply.This seperator/regulator was installed to mitigate that. So far it seems of good quality. Installation was smooth. With my configuration I did not use the included hanger or the short 1/2 brass nipples. Testing this with a d/a sander produced none of the moisture spit which would previously result from a high cfm use. A success in my book. Ill update the review if anchoring changes with further use.
