CCNA Routing and Switching 200-125: Official Cert Guide

Great book! Very well written. The books are large but they way that they've devided chapters into parts makes this easy to digest. You can "do i know this already quizzes" at the beginning of each chapter to determine the amount of time you need to spend reading the chapter or skipping over it if need be. This allows you learn what you don't know and sharpen what you already know? i've already been able to either test out of chapters or skim over them. The books are literally designed to help ensure good study habits and build crucial skills needed to pass the exams and apply skills learned to real life. I can't put this book down it's that good! However....I feel like this product over hypes the labs...they are about worthless. The book set deserves 5 stars. The labs are less than stellar. I would suggest looking of CCNA work book and getting a free version of packet tracer. Combined with those you'll be able to get more from the book than just the lite versions of the labs I suspect.

Great Study Material. I really recommend using packet tracer, Udemy videos , Todd lammle ccna study guide and boson software to practice for the exam!!!! With all these materials I was able to pass the ccna composite with 920. NOO It wasn’t easy!! It took me around 6 months of staying up late night studying and waking up in the mornings to do it again, after I passed the ccna exam I felt very confident about the material and applied for jobs like crazy after about another month or 2 I was finally able to land a contract job as an entry level network admin making $17.50 hr. Next month my contract will be up and I already have another company that wants to hire me full time with great benefits and with almost double the pay from my previous job. Life is great. In less than 2 years I went from dead-end warehouse jobs making minimum to a network admin position making over $20 hr. This has given me the privilege to not only pay my moms house off for Christmas but to also completely pay for my college and buy myself a new Jeep Wrangler. Now I’m just saving to buy a house. If I can do it there shouldn’t be any reason why you can’t. #knowledgeISpower #CEH UP NEXT

This was an outstanding guide for adding to the information presenting in the CCENT book. I bought both together and being able to swap back and forth between the two books based on Foundation Topics is crucial to understanding how the author writes.Even after using Cisco devices for over 4 years, this book explained the topics and ideas that I have not had to learn, but needed to know for the exam. This author writes in a very logical and well thought out manner that may appear as "dry" to some. That being said, there is not nad information in this guide and can be essential to helping anyone pass the ICND 2 exam, as long as they follow along with the diagrams and really apply themselves to the virtual trainers.

This is not a review of the technical content of the books, only of the format in which they are delivered.The content seems great BUT!Why are these books only sold on hardback and not on digital format?!?I bought these books b/c I had to have them for exam questions and training material I'm writing and knew they were hardback at the time of purchase.It's probably some attempt to protect it from piracy, I get that but at what point are you burdening the consumer with two huge books which could have been electronically delivered and protected with DRM like with Kindle books?This is not acceptable and no good comes out of it because it's wasteful and unnecessary.

If you are studying for your CCNA, you can't really afford to not own these books. These books contain everything you need to pass CCENT and CCNA tests. The companion CDs/material are excellent resources. Practice exams, section/chapter reviews, virtual labs. It only comes with basic labs, in order to get access to the full version you need to pay another $60. IMO this is worth it also. You get what you pay for and then some. These tests are difficult, and it is an investment of more than just money. These books will help you get there.

Great product works as advertised!

After searching through many different books and online courses I finally came across this set of books. It is two books the first covers ICND1 or CCENT and the second covers ICND2 which together with book 1 covers CCNA. The books are very well written and the author is very detail oriented. The books follows the objectives well and is very is to follow. I highly recommend it for anyone who is seeking the CCENT or CCNA certification.

Me surpreendi com a rapidez na entrega da Amazon. Foi minha primeira compra , e o livro chegou 1 semana antes do estimado, apenas 2 dias depois da compra. O livro eu tive a oportunidade de conhecer com um amigo que importou , e como sempre, o conteúdo da Cisco Press é impecável. para quem precisa recertificar(como eu) ou pretende tirar a CCNA, indico com certeza esse material, pois ajuda muito a entender os conceitos envolvidos. O único porém, é que o material está em inglês, mas isso reforça a necessidade de aprender o suficiente desse idioma para aprender mais , ja que os melhores livros dessa area estão em inglês.Do mais, quem adquirir esse livro , com certeza vai ficar muito satisfeito com o material

Con la nueva versión de la certificación que entró en vigor este año, es una muy buena forma de estudiar por si solo.Si estás intentando conseguir la certificación CCNA R&S ya sea por medio de los dos examenes 100-105 y 200-105 o el 200-125 este paquete incluye ambos libros para cubrir los temas necesarios del ICND1 y ICND2 que juntos forman el CCNA R&S.Cisco al actualizar la certificación se modificaron los temas, tanto quitó algunos como agregó otros y por lo mismo los libros tienen más capítulos que los de la versión anterior (200-120). Los capítulos son relativamente cortos, algunos son de unas 20 páginas, otros en los que ves configuración y troubleshooting pueden tener alrededor de 30-40 páginas, pero están buen muy explicados que por lo mismo no se extienden innecesariamente.Junto con este par libros solo queda practicar, practicar y practicar para poder conseguir el 200-125.

Conseillé pour ceux qui comprenne l'anglais.Il est très détaillé, et complet, avec deux DVD en support. Ils offrent des examens blancs permettant de mieux se préparer pour l'exam. Je vous conseil d'acheter ce livre neuf, et non à occasion, car les codes fournis sont mono-utilisateur.

Finally it arrived!! Started reading a dew days ago and I am already starting to understand networking. Soon that CCNA exam will as easy as eating a pie :)A big book but worth reading specially if you are doing a self study
