I’m a DIY novice but I’ve decided to take on the task of doing my front garden and drive and I needed to take up the concrete path. I’m a 40 mum of 3 just giving things a go. I was worried about the blade wearing out but it did the whole job no problem. I didn’t get a bag for dust collection but wish I had now, but that’s no detriment to the tool. I did 2 cuts which took about 15 mins across the path, then left it for 10 minutes or so as I didn’t want to burn it out, it was fine. I wet the path beforehand and also in between cuts. It only took a couple of hours to make light work of the path. It wasn’t too heavy and I felt confident once I got the hang of it. At the price it didn't make sense hiring one. Amazed with this cutter, which came with a diamond disc as well. It cut all my concrete absolutely no problem, some parts were about a brick thick. I even expected to maybe have to buy another disc to finish the job but no, it did the lot and there's still life in it. It's a powerful cutter, nicely balanced, not too heavy and easy to use. Saved me an absolute fortune in doing this job myself.
