Easier to Manage than a Chain
These cables are long and allow multiple items to be secured with just one or two padlocks. The cables are much easier to manage and store compared to chains. These cables, together with a good lock and a secure fixed object, provide about as much security as one can get from theft. A thief would need to bring really robust cutting tools to overcome this security.
