Q: Is this 2 pieces or 2 hinges (top and bottom)?

This is 2 hinges, 4 pieces total. It could be used for top and bottom, or two bottom hinges (I had planned to use them for a set of French doors).

Q: How much weight can each hing hold? I want to use it for a trap door to a crawlsoace. It is in a hallway so it will be walked on.

These hinges probably won’t work for that. They’ll support a lot of weight vertically but, not horizontally. Cool idea thought.

Q: How much weight can they hold? Any indication in terms of lbs/kg?

It’ll hold 100lbs easy . If you mount and balance it vertically. It won’t hold much at all if you’re going to try to mount it horizontally. I have two solid core doors mounted with these and they’ve been swinging just fine for more than a year.
