Ear Piercing Earrings Gold Mini 3mm Round Ball Studs "Studex System 75" Hypoallergenic by Studex

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my teenaged daughter. She was thrilled to get her ears pierced. I was very pleased with how simple and inexpensive it was. Highly recommended!Some notes that may be helpful if you are inexperienced like we were:1. We first used a kit with genuine silver-plated earrings, but her ears reacted to the metal and got infected. We had to remove the earrings after a week and let her ears heal completely. The second time, we used this kit with the genuine gold-plated earrings. Her ears healed beautifully. (I should have expected that might happen — my ears are super sensitive and I can only wear gold earrings!)2. We took our time carefully planning where to place the holes. Most people’s ears aren’t symmetrical and her earlobes are at an angle pointing away from her face, so just using a ruler didn’t work. After cleaning her earlobes with an alcohol prep wipe, I “eyeballed” it and used a fine tip permanent marker to put a dot on each earlobe. I had her stand back a few feet from the bathroom mirror and we looked at them from various angles. I erased the dots with another alcohol prep wipe and re-“dotted” until we were both happy with the placement.3. When we were ready to proceed, I washed my hands and opened the packages. I experimented with the spring-loaded applicator to get a feel for how hard I would need to press. I then placed the point of the earring on the dot and adjusted the angle of entry until the earring was level horizontally and slightly angled toward her head. When it was in place, she took a deep breath and exhaled as I pierced it. She said it wasn’t very painful.4. After they were both done, we carefully cleaned around the earrings with an alcohol wipe to remove the marker ink and disinfect the holes. We cleaned them every day or two and she left the earrings in for about 5 weeks until they were fully healed.

Wow! I tried to put in an earring (I have only one hole in left ear) after several years without one and found it had closed up. Found this neat little kit and thought "let's try it, why not?!" I am so impressed. I peeled back one of the two blister-packs, removing this little spring loaded gadget all ready to go. After swabbing the lobe, I placed the sharp, pointy stud in my old hole and squeezed it together. It was so smooth! I felt so little pain! After releasing the pressure it sprung back and with a little jiggling, it released my ear leaving the little gold stud firmly in place. Wow! What a crazy cool little gadget! I can't wait to gift the other to a friend sometime soon.

I was very skeptical about this little ear piercing kit because I wasn't sure how well it would actually do the job. However, I was VERY impressed with how quick and efficiently it did the job! The photos are of my granddaughter, and she initially wanted her ear pierced higher up but she was afraid it would hurt more than doing the lobe. I placed equally spaced marks up her ear (just in case she wanted more later-they would be spaced good), then she chose the spot for the first one (the little gold balls). After she decided that it wasn't 'that bad', she wanted the middle one done. Which is why the bigger CZ is in the middle lol. Anyway, she was happy with the process, and I was thoroughly surprised with how well this little thing worked :).

This would be the 2nd ear piercing kit I purchased for my daughter. They are easy to use, you do them at home and it's cheaper than stores or malls.The first set I used for my daughter was supposed to be sterling silver but she broke out and started itching almost immediately. So we took those out. Cleaned her ears well and let them heal for 6 months.I then found this set. It's gold and knowing now that she's sensitive to metals, this was our next try.The item arrived quickly and well packaged. It didn't come with a marker to mark where the line up was but I used the back of a sterile sewing needle to make a light indent. Then we peirced one side. We waited 2 hours to see if it'd start itching or hurting like the last set. There wasn't a reaction so we went to do the second one. Since my daughter is like most people and her ears aren't completely identical, it took us a little longer to make sure they were even, then we pierced the second ear.It's been 3 months since we put these in and we haven't had an infection or any issues. Will be buying a second set for her second hole. Overall good product and easy to use for novice

I was about to pay $60 for my daughter to get her ears pierced at a place at the mall when I saw they used this product. I went home and bought it and have used it 4 times now between my daughter’s ears and my own. Easy to use, sanitary, and the stud is cute. We haven’t tried it on cartilage, however.

Fantastic, affordable ear piercing. I’ve had these in for a month now and they’re still great. No reaction of any kind. It didn’t even hurt. I did have to have a friend do the actual piercing because I couldn’t hold it straight enough. But she just pushed it down to almost going through and then applied pressure. They went right in and attached to the backs. The piercer got a little stuck on the earring, but I just gave it a wiggle and it came right off. There’s a video online that shows you how if you’re nervous. I’m so happy with them I’m trying to figure out how many more piercings I can have on my lobes.

It was an easy process to do! My friend helped me out since I wanted to make sure both earrings were even but all she did was place the needle kit over my ear and pressed and it was over in like 5 seconds. I legit didn't feel anything it was like a very very small pinch. I love having my doubles and for the price, it was totally worth it!
