Open the fuse box, find the ACC socket, connect the red wire of the buck cable to ACC and screw the black wire to the fuse box screw. Dear Customer Thanks for your enquiry. You need to connect the positive terminal of the hardwire kit to the permanent charge on the car(which is always electricity, no matter the car is off or on). VP02 hardwire kit enters the parking monitoring mode algorithmically, i.e. automatically by standing still for 5 minutes, not directly by detecting that the car is switched off.
