When I searched for COTTON SHEETS, these came up. Then to see "1500," most people will think that is the Tread Count. This is the wording: " Equivalent to 1500 Thread Count Sheet Sets." Quite deceiving. The company has since REMOVED the word COTTON in their description, as of this review, though it DID come up when I was searching Dec. 2018. They are also VERY thin material, with a nasty chemical aroma. **Q: Amazon needs to correct their search function so these sheets don't come up when someone searches for cotton sheets. How to do that? Anyone know?** A: I noticed numerous sellers putting statements such as "soft like Egyptian cotton" in their descriptions, which makes it come up in searches. The super-high thread counts seem to be another give away that stuff isn't cotton, so watch out for anything that says something like "1500 thread count." Even on stuff that DOES say 100% cotton I've seen reviewers saying their "cotton" sheets melt with a lighter. I don't understand why its suddenly so hard to find something so freaking basic!!! **Q: Is this cotton?** A: Certain colors say cotton while others say microfiber. I ordered them not realizing this and the ones I received are polyester microfiber. While they feel good and look good I hate polyester. The listing is deceptive and you have to check material content each time you select a color and size. **Q: Are the people packing your sheets smoking while working?? When I unfolded the fitted sheet there was a cigarette butt and ashes.** A: $23.99 for King sized sheets. $25 for California King. For that price, you might find a cigarette, or hell, even a chicken's foot.
