To know if it's the router or the internet, you'd want to run ping/speed tests on a PC or other device that is hard wired to the router (CAT5/6) instead of using Wi-Fi, then do the same with Wi-Fi connected devices and look at the differences in results. If you have high ping regardless of if it's Wi-Fi or Hardwired (Hardwired is always gonna be lower but if it's still roughly the same, then odds go up it's the internet (still could be the router, be best to test with another router but who has that laying around...). If it's MUCH MUCH lower ping when you hardwire, it's the Wi-Fi connection and cord could definitely help... I have noticed that the charging is considerably slower the original charging cable had an avrig charge from 25%-80% of an hour and a half.
