Solar Repair Kit

THis repair kit was great, it fixed my leaky solar panels! I'd suggest watching a Youtube video for the best way to use this repair kit. I'm thrilled to not have to replace my panels that were leaking.

We used this but our pool solar panels split along the back so we were unable to use them. Since purchasing them we discovered the large split along the pack of each of our panels. The company is no longer in business so we cannot use the solar panels any longer. We believe it might be due to the area of the country we live because it gets very hot in SC.

The Calzona Solar Repair Kit worked very well. The instructions were easy to follow, and it sealed the solar panel leaks immediately. If I had not handled the repair myself, my solar company probably would have taken weeks to respond. Overall, it is a very good product. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that a couple of the plugs were missing the recessed indentation on the back for the plug. That indentation helps keep the tool centered when pushing the plug into the solar tube.

This kit has plugs to block the leak. They just kept splitting the tube when inserted. Bought larger tubing to go over the are that is working fine.

Delivered on time. As described. Could have included some instruction on the tool assembly and more current contact info.

Cheap product. Tube cutter broke on first use. Ended up using a razor blade to make the cuts. Some of the plugs did not have holes for the insertion tool. That part of the procedure was hit and miss. Just buy plugs, use a razor blade and push them in with a small screwdriver.
