I bought this to replace a 40 aluminum case that I had been using to carry portable ham radio gear and related cables, etc. Over the years I'd outgrown the old case and was looking for something that was sturdy & could withstand rough conditions while still protecting my gear. This case fit the bill perfectly. It has a large interior space with ample foam padding that can be customized to fit your particular need. I simply took out the inner pad and put my gear on top of the remaining pad so that when I close the case the eggshell padding held my gear in place. This is an exceptionally heavy duty well-designed case that could fit just about every need from carrying camera equipment to electronics or other objects. It would make the perfect carry-on if you need to travel with whatever you care to put in the case and it has places where you can lock the case with small padlocks which I found useful. Great value for the money. Highly recommended.

High quality case for a really reasonable price. This is the 2nd case I have purchased. I was very impressed with the 1st one. I had to buy the 2nd one. Im using them for some precision equipment. Love the fact that the case comes in a few sizes and deeps. With the center being per cut made it really easy to size each section for each tool.

Excellent quality. One hinge holder a little crooked though. Dimensions accurate. Appreciated this one NOT HAVING removable space foam. Fit my device perfectly. Once again, GREAT job coming up with hard to find item, Amazon!

Like strong and foam easy to customize. Latching hooks sometimes difficult to fold correctly so they latch. Case was used to protect an action camera and gimbal. I used the protective foam that came with the gimbal and foam in the case. The foam was hot glued to the case after I had used a couple of times and happy with the configuration. Only dislikes are the funky latching hooks but not a game changer.

Received this item today so review is based only on first impressions and not long term longevity. Exterior is hard quality plastic with ability to lock case with a padlock. The interior foam is a softer foam with pre-cut notches for easy fitting of whatever you are hauling. There are two layers of thick foam and one base layer underneath that is not notched with squares. It is not the harder polyethylene foam but the squishier softer foam (polyurethane likely). Using this for a laptop case with extra monitors, size is just right at 19x17x8 - watch attached video to see. Might replace the foam inserts eventually with a harder polyethylene foam but I will just wait and see how this holds up over time before making that adjustment. Seems to be of excellent quality upon first inspection.

Let me tell you that if you were onboard the Titanic, this case would survive the crash! Now that may be a bit of a stretch, however, thre case is watertight and heavy duty with two tight clasps. Okay so maybe I went overboard, pun intended, and brought it in to the shower with me. Well, not a drop of water entered the case. There is however something you should know, and because of all that protection, this case is heavy for its size. I suppose it has to be to provide fall and water protection. In my case I removed the foam liners and inserted two meters so they could both fit. All I can say is if you want a totally rugged case, albeit slightly heavy, this is a good choice!
