I've had this light for over 4 years and am overall satisfied. While it is definitely not as bright as advertised (maybe 600 lumens), I am happy with the quality and reliability. The light is also the most compact of the 8+ different 18650 lights my dive buddies, and I have. I like the simple button operation, which is intuitive to use (valuable in cases when I lend it out). The button is also protected by being recessed, which makes me much less worried about it accidentally turning on. I would recommend this and would buy it again if mine was lost. Mine has probably been on 25+ recreational limit dives and was temporarily lost underwater for 24 hours with no issues.

One review said the threads were square cut- mine weren’t; BUT Good stuff: -Completely waterproof with the induction press switch. - VERY bright - Best value for flashlights with the rechargeable battery I’ve seen. - No, you can’t recharge it externally, but then you’d have a huge compromise in any type of saltwater. - It does return to the last mode used. Cons: the press on / hold off method is a little weird. I find myself switching through modes like an idiot a few times before I remember.

Worked great for the price. I used it on a night dive and it was more than sufficient. Maybe not as good as the high end but def good enough for a back up. Recharge battery works well.

Agree with other commenters that the charger is very cheap, flimsy, yet it did seem to work. Checked the batter for a cover and the only plastic was around the outside, nothing covering either end (see photos). The blue border is attached to the sleeve wrapping the battery the full length, plus if there was a protective covering the battery would not charge. Upon putting the battery into the charger, then plugging the charger in, the light was red. Let it remain until the light turned green. Transferred battery into flashlight, and upon pressing the button on the bottom nothing happened. Next day asked husband to take a look, and he wanted to verify the battery was charged, so we put it back in the charger like before (waiting to plug-in until we had the battery in place). Light was red (should have still had a charge from the night before). After a few hours light was green again, so he moved the battery into the flashlight and again, nothing. We noticed the button on the bottom depresses, but it refuses to "click" like several of these type buttons do. It might be a bad battery, it might be the switch not working, it might be a bad bulb, impossible to know for sure. This is now in the process of being returned, and I'll be purchasing a different brand diver flashlight instead.
