Review: Quality Blender with a decent guarantee to back it up. - Love this blender ice frappes, soups, milkshakes no problem nice quality item.A great addition to the coco lounge kitchen. Review: Excellent purchase. - After looking around for a powerful blender at a reasonable price I'm so happy I came across this on desertcart, never heard of Cleanblend before so after a bit of research on youtube and desertcart USA I decided to make the purchase. Been using it a few weeks now and have made all sorts of of smoothies and ingredients in this. It really is powerful I literally just take some frozen broccali out the freezer bang it right in with a pint of water and some kale and click down pulse a few times and out comes a healthy smoothie. Also used it to make peanut butter and almost powder for thickening sauces, again was just a matter of putting in a kilo of almonds pulsing it a few times until I got the right consistency and bam job done. How someone could spend £650 on the market leading 2.2 HP blender when you get 3 HP with the Cleanblend for £150 is beyond me ! The working parts are all metal so it feels nice and solid and not some cheap plasticy mechanism. ## Features - POWERFUL BLENDING PERFORMANCE – Features a 3 HP, 1800-watt motor designed to handle a variety of blending tasks. It take a moment to munch everything up at low speed, then I open it up to full speed for no more than 20 to 30 seconds. Plenty of time to blend everything smooth. **Q: will this model crush/chop icecubes for frozen bar drinks?** A: Yes. It crushed the ice cubes and frozen berries for me with no problem. **Q: How does this handle raw carrots and citrus peels? Does it make them smooth, or do they end up being little chunks like in the Ninja?** A: I put in raw carrots and it blended them very smooth without even breaking a sweat. I am drinking a carrot, apple, pear, and pineapple smoothly and the carrots are so blended that they are not even gritty or powdery. They seem perfectly liquified (the pears and apples have a very slight grit to them, but not the carrots). I am going to be trying to do some lemon rinds and will hopefully report here how they work when I do... **Q: Where is it made? Anyone been making smoothies where ice needs to be crushed daily? If so, please, how long has it been performing under pressure? Thx** A: "The blade is made in Japan and the container in the United States. The rest is made and assembled in China," according to an email the company sent me in response to the question. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Quality Blender with a decent guarantee to back it up. *by P***C on 10 September 2016* Love this blender ice frappes, soups, milkshakes no problem nice quality item.A great addition to the coco lounge kitchen. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent purchase. *by R***D on 11 December 2016* After looking around for a powerful blender at a reasonable price I'm so happy I came across this on amazon, never heard of Cleanblend before so after a bit of research on youtube and Amazon USA I decided to make the purchase.
