Suits my need perfectly
I bought this for my financial management course not really knowing why I needed it when I already have 4 different calculators that I have bought specifically for different college courses. I really only use it for the time value of money functions, but I can extrapolate that that function could be used for a lot of other problems. And that is only one function that I have used, when I'm sure that there is so much more that it can do!I had a few issues when I first started using it that were more operator error than anything else, but now it's great. Just read the instructions carefully; I missed one major step while I was reading them and got so frustrated that I almost chucked the calculator against a wall before I calmed down and read through them again.

I got what I was looking for
Although in contrast to conventional calculators is very different (and maybe more difficult than a scientific HP?): I like the feeling when pushing the buttons, the design, the type of computing I can use for, etc.

Great Financial Calculator!
Great at being a financial calculator! Easy to use and understand, does a broad range of financial calculations very well! Best investment ever for being able to make quick evaluation of potential investments, interest expense with loans, etc! As for what what is was meant to be, a financial calculator, avoid using it for "math". This calculator is a one trick pony; fractions are a headache and forget about equations with multiple terms.
