The chapters begin with early theories of cognitive development and bring the reader up-to-date on the state of the art research and implications to the serious "student" of childhood development--including educators, clinicians and researchers.The early chapters provide an introduction to research conducted on the topic of infant and child development. Topics include sensory development, executive attention,and conflict resolution.
