UPDATED. Read. *by M***H on Reviewed in the United States on June 9, 2017* It does as it says. I have thin hair and volume isn't my friend. This creates volume for a short time for me. I don't really use volume hair products because I'm not a fan of putting a bunch of goop on my scalp. I do use thermal protecting products. My favorite the Tresemme thermal spray by far with Wella Thermal spray coming in second. Anyhow, my hair didn't snag on this, and the fact that the cord connection to the styler rotates made it much easier. All in all I'm satisfied with the product and I recommend it. It heats up in a reasonable amount of time, bristles are warm to the touch, great product worth every penny.Update 8/16/17: As I stated before, I use thermal protecting sprays. I found a downside, the product builds up on the styling to and its a pain to remove it. I do it with alcohol and qtips. It's a tedious process. I only use one product for my hair so I feel for you if you use more than one. I still give it 5 stars because the tool itself is good. Then I put it down on my counter and it lost teeth, it fell off the counter lost more teeth, brushed it though my hair and lost more teeth until I was to the point where one side had no teeth and I threw it away. There are a few issues with it though...1) After maybe 2 weeks of use a couple of the teeth fell off and now a lot have fell off to the point I need to buy a new curling brush (purchased in July 2016). 2) The cord is absolutely horrible. It stays twisted constantly.
