Perfect for a 4 year old. She loved it and her mom likes being able to see her when she is under her new umbrella! Very cute. Very good quality! She took it to preschool for show and tell. Very pleased!

Such a great quality umbrella. Easy to use for toddlers! Cute colors and well made. Have bought other brand umbrellas in the past that feel flimsy and break easily - this is definitely not one of those! Would buy again for sure.

Such a complimentary style. I tried the compact umbrellas but my kids have a really tough time closing them. These ones are darling and very appropriately sized for children

I bought two of these, one for a 7 yr old and one for a 2.5 yr old. Positives: They seem pretty durable (time will tell). I like how they cover their whole upper body but they can still see when they walk. Both kids can hold it above their head with no trouble at all. I got the polka dots b/c it was cute and gave them a little privacy if they wanted it. Negatives: My oldest has a hard time opening it, it takes a little bit of a push. She can do it but I have to tell her to be forceful. She and I both have pinched our fingers a few time closing it. Again it takes a bit of a strong pull, and if you get your finger in the wrong spot while doing it, you get a little pinch. She is practicing. Finally, b/c of the plasticy material can get a little stuck together, my daughter has a difficult time wrapping it all closed and snapping it. I wish that closure piece was a slight bit longer to make it easier for kids. Mine did not have the powder that other reviews have mentioned. They came clean and nicely packaged. Overall a good purchase. I think I want one for myself as this see-through design seems to make more sense than a regular umbrella, however I do prefer to have a more collapsible umbrella for carrying around so I'll see how these last first.

It's perfect for my 4yr old. Looks exactly like the image, super easy to open and close. Size wise its great for her age but if you had an older child I would look for a bigger umbrella. It's borderline too small for my 7yr old

This is a fantastic umbrella! My little one has used it quite a bit and it seems really sturdy. She loves the color and I love how she can use it right over her head and see through it. Haven’t had to use it in really windy conditions though, but it has been really reliable in the rain storms it’s been through so far.
