Spring Loaded Gate Casters 4” Heavy Duty Gate Caster Wheels with Hardware 330 Lbs Load Capacity

I installed this on a 12 foot swing gate, across my driveway, and it's been amazing. It was very easy to install, all the hardware was included, it's very sturdy, the spring allows it to roll nicely across a slightly sloped and slightly uneven driveway. It suited my need perfectly and does exactly what it claims to do. Well worth the cost.

The selling or deciding point on these were the up and down adjustable wheels. They did NOT fail to deliver on this! In time ground settles and pavers and the gates themselves settle and shift. I wanted to be able to adjust the wheels myself as to keep the gates as level as possible through the years. Springs are good but not as personal of adjust as I like. Super easy to crank them up or down with a socket wrench on top and the installation was as easy as to be expected. The wheels feel solid and they spin and rotate with ease. The screws to install them are large and sturdy. I honestly don’t see any reason why I shouldn’t get many years of use out of these but if anything changes I will update my review accordingly. This gate wheel does the job perfectly. Its heavy duty construction holds the gate up well and the caster swivels easily when the gate opens and closes. Installation was easy. Great product. UPDATE: January 2026: Well... the inner spring just snapped, so I'm going to have to order another one. At this price, I suppose it's alright to order a new one every 21 months. It makes sense that it would wear down, the gate that this is attached to gets a ton of use.

Best and most useful wheel for supporting my gate. Highly recommended if you need a dependable item like this.

Looking at all the ways a wheel could attach to a wood gate, we were so confused until we took a good look at all the features this one offered. We mounted it on the yard-side of our gate, measuring to make sure that when the gate closed it would not hit the latch post. This way we had no trip hazard inside the yard. We measured, drilled small pilot holes, then put in the 4 screws. Done! Because it SWIVELS it makes opening the heavy gate effortless, and stands tall enough that snow should not impede it. The hard wheel will NEVER go flat. Seems high quality metal and bearings, too. It was worth the price. I'm SO GLAD we chose this one!

I put this on my gate in my carport. I have to say it holds his weight is very durable and strong. Good quality.

I tightened down the spring before installing the wheel on my gate per the instructions. The wheel holds the weight of the gate in the closed position but when I open the gate the spring is stuck and doesn’t allow the wheel to ride on the ground thereby putting too much stress on the hinges. I guess I got a defective spring. So frustrating.

We have a wide heavy gate that bent a cheaper wheel. Have used this wheel for a few months now and works excellent. Have had no issues with it. will purchase again
