The customer service rep asked if I used pods in the dishwasher, as they can effect the finish. I did not, as I use cascade powder. She offered to replace one of the 3 boxes. I now have one good set, and 2 sets that do not match with it, making it impossible to use at a large setting. At Christmas, I used an older gold flatware set that I purchased from west elm and have had for years. The last photo shows a picture of the west elm flatware next to the Lenox flatware. I cannot recommend purchasing the Lenox Portola flatware. Although it is heavy and sturdy, the finish comes off very easily and the company did not stand behind their lifetime warranty.
